Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering is an AICTE approved & RTU affliated Graduation program in spread over eight semesters. This program is exclusively designed to meet the constantly evolving Electrical industry requirements. The fact that industries are accepting EE students into their company is testimony to the quality of program and its credentials.
The department has grown not only in terms of student and faculty strength, but also in improving the laboratory facilities for the teaching and research purposes. Thus, the department has dedicated and state of the art teaching / research laboratories. The department is recognized for excellence in research, teaching and service to the profession.
The faculty members have strong sense of responsibility to provide the finest possible education to students.
Department runs B.Tech. program which is a four-year course oriented undergraduate program. For this the course work is spread across all the 8 semesters. These courses are taught here towards the fulfillment of the degree requirements and include a set of core subjects which are prescribed by the RTU university syllabus as well offers some departmental electives and open electives. In addition, the programme curriculum includes 60 days of industrial Training after VI semester and students take-up projects in batches from the seventh semester to finally complete it in their eight semester.

The three areas as mentioned can be taken up as specialization in these areas for pursuing higher education. The department counselling the student & assist them in these areas to get placement and higher opportunities.
The Department strives to provide opportunities to the students by creating a stimulating environment to strengthen technical knowledge as well as honing soft skills. It works relentlessly to endow them with competence in any and every sphere of technical education.
The students get opportunities to participate in many workshops and trainings and get certificates.
The students get an opportunity to exhibit their skills and knowledge in various co-curricular and extra-curricular areas through competitions and events organized on a regular basis.
