Message from the Dean
It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you at Mahaveer Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), Jadan. I heartily convey my best wishes to all of you.
The institute is emerging as a pioneering technical institute in the region. It attracts a large number of talented students who aspire to equip themselves with the best of technological knowledge and skills in order to serve the society and shape the future India. The institute has proudly set for itself the motto: “Every Student is a Winner”.
We at MITS strive continually to empower our students with an all-round development through acquiring the requisite technical knowledge and skills, building character, and enhancing employability. We maintain highly qualified, experienced and motivated faculty in this endeavour. Teamwork is the hallmark of MITS, and through collaborative effort we aim to prepare our students as the ideal citizens and future leaders of the nation.
We intensively use a variety of thought-provoking activities, strategies and group dynamics to make the lectures more lively and retainable. To encourage extracurricular activities and reading habits, sports and library periods are incorporated in the regular time table. Along with this, remedial classes and motivation classes are arranged periodically for academic improvement and soft-skills development.
We inculcate in our students a strong sense of discipline, time management and punctuality. Emotional intelligence is nurtured through regular counseling sessions. “Academic-Industry Connect” sessions include interactions with top industrialists. Expert lectures by visiting professors enhance the students’ employability quotient and facilitate their smooth transition into corporate culture.
We imbibe into our students the values of knowledge, love, harmony and culture through education which enable them to adjust and adapt to the emerging society of multicultural thoughts, beliefs and religions. In these formative years they need a genial, idyllic and natural learning environment. MITS ambience provides all these to our students.
