Message from the Principal

The world of Engineering and Technology is at the cusp of renaissance with the science. The traditional educational system is evolving at an exponential pace due to tremendous backing of Research and Innovation. The multidisciplinary problem solving skill of Engineers and scientists together with the advances in computational resources is helping mankind to break all the barriers and fear of venturing into unknown.

With different branches of Science and Technology merging seamlessly into newer streams, the scope of engineering has increased many folds. We at the Mahaveer Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) are trying to recreate a synergy between different aspects of Engineering. We try to impart engineering education to our students that is grounded in their own culture, and prepare students for a happy and productive career.

We at Mahaveer Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) are constantly striving to prepare our students to face the challenges of life with best of their abilities and skills. We also inculcate within them a sense of responsibility towards the society and prepare them to be the future team builders and leaders of the Nation, so if you are fervent about engineering and have passion for innovations than MITS is the place where you should be.


Dr. Shishodia has teaching experience of more than 13 years at various renowned engineering Colleges in India. He has research experience of 5 years at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and Imperial College London. He did his PhD from Applied Mechanics Department at IIT Delhi. He was also senior project member of UKIRI sponsored collaborative project (By British Council) between IIT Delhi and Imperial College London. He did his B.Tech and M.Tech from Gujarat University.

His area of interest and expertise are Fluid Mechanics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Solid Mechanics, Human Centered Design, Turbulence Modeling, Thermal Engineering, and Cryogenics.

He has extensive command on ANSYS-FLUENT, Sc Tetra, MATLAB, and GAMBIT. He has also published more than 20 research papers in International Journals (such as ASME, Springer, Taylor and Francis, Elsevier), Conferences, and Symposiums etc. He has also applied for 5 National Patents and Published 3 Books; He is life member of ISTE, IAENG and a member of ASME.
