A Seminar was organized by MITS for celebrating the QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT DAY at MITS Jadan. The event started with a brief lecture by Principal MITS explaining the importance of the day to students and teachers, the contribution of our Father of Nation, Gandhiji in our freedom struggle. His speech was followed by screening of a short documentary on QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT.
Students then presented their views on Independence, QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT and shared their thoughts on what needs to be done for a building Stronger India. They also spoke about meaning of independence, the responsibility of youth and citizens towards the nation and true meaning of “AAZADI”. In total 9 Students presented their Views. In the end Dean MITS presented his views on QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT and its present day
relevance.
